I have only a couple days left to get this office remodel done before we have company over on the weekend. Can I do it? I honestly don't know. I have poured my entire self into this remodel and the closer I get to being done with it all, the more things I need to do. Can I please have a duplicator type machine to duplicate myself and send my clones around the house to work? If only.
Keep your fingers crossed as I have tons to do today. I could have gotten my molding painted while I typed this out! Oh my.

Remodeling
Oh my do the remodeling projects ever end? From the floors, to the walls, to the ceilings, to the kitchen, to the laundry room, to the second bathroom and now to the office. I think I brought this one upon myself. I got the bright idea to empty out the office to shampoo the carpet and to take down the wall paper border. I really should have seen the remodeling act coming forth when I planned just that small thing. My house is now cluttered with office supplies and various other hobby type items of my husband while the office echos each time one enters the room and says anything. The dogs thing it is a gift to them as the carpet is there for them to scratch their backs on and to make them feel super mega cozyfied.
The ceiling that was once adorned with some paper form of tiles that were loosely stapled in place now has drywall, tape, and now lots of mud. A couple places on the walls look like I got angry and flung the mud in a fit of crazy rage, but one really cannot tell if you consider the many nail holes that are now filled with this mud.
As I filled the holes where nails once were, it made me wonder what exactly the walls looked like with the previous owners. That many holes in the walls, it got me imagining the walls just covered with items that a teenager would put up and then some the parents insisted on putting up. Shelves, photos, those silly little masks covered in glitter and ribbons, I even pictured a sheet of some sort hanging from the wall as there was this perfect line of holes right near the top of the wall. One day I dared to count all the holes that were put in that room alone, and I believe I went past eighty. Seriously people, eighty? Why on earth, what on earth, and under who's dog? It really is that confusing. I then calmed myself down by telling myself that the room probably not only was a room for one person but many and filled with all the items the people loved. That thought alone made me stop filling my brain with such silly ideas and move forth with my work. Who knew that many thoughts could pass through my brain in a matter of seconds? Luckily not too much of my time was wasted as I wandered off into dreamland.
This office remodel is supposed to be done by this weekend. We shall see how this goes. I am taking into account how my house looks right now and I think that alone should motivate me to hurry up and get it done. Drywall is so much of a pain to finish that our second bathroom took me a couple months to get to the point of sanding and priming. Lots of coffee and lots of clutter should help motivate me on this one.

Hmmm.....
Yeah I had one of these blogs before but in the confusion of my normal morning fog paired with the fuzz filled mind of one suffering with a cold, I made a new one. I never cease to amuse myself by my daftness. Perhaps this can be a new leaf for me, tossing out the old and pressing on forward with the new. I really don't have much to say, but at least this is some kind of start for me. Maybe I will have some sort of clarity after my favourite coffee and a shower. Coffee really should be all that it takes to pry open my eyes, but something about a shower just brings forth the possibilities and hopes of a fresh new day.
If you wonder what kind of coffee I drink, you will find that I follow a coffee blog that is run by my in-laws and I drink their coffee and also support their business fully. Oh my, I have a link for you! http://midwestorganiccoffee.blogspot.com/
Enjoy! :)
